The STIP is MDOT’s four-year listing of planned transportation improvements for our state. It is updated by MDOT and submitted for approval to the Federal Highway Administration and can be amended as needed in the event of unforeseen developments. To learn more about the STIP, click the link below entitled "STIP Fact Sheet".

Public participation in the development of the STIP is very important and welcomed at anytime. Please provide your suggestions for improving Mississippi’s transportation system by filling out a comment form (see link below) and returning it to the MDOT Planning Division at stip@mdot.state.ms.us, or by calling (601) 359-7685.
